Welcome To Friends Hospital 

Friends Hospital is built on an area of ??20,000 square feet on IJP Road, Rawalpindi. It is an 80-bed hospital with a six-storey building. The foundation stone of Friends Hospital was laid on May 1, 2010 in Rawalpindi by the High Commissioner of Kuwait to Pakistan, Mr. Nawaf Abdul Aziz Alenzi and the Ambassador of Pakistan to Kuwait, Mr. Iftikhar Aziz. Dr. Iftikhar Ahmed and his team worked till morning and using minimum time and Friends Hospital was completed in July 2012. An impressive opening ceremony of Friends Hospital was held on its premises on July 14, 2012. Special guests on the occasion included Mr. Nasir Al-Sayed of the International Islamic Charitable Organization (IICO) Kuwait and prominent Pakistani businessmen, doctors, civil and military personnel from Kuwait.

Services

The hospital officially opened the first phase in which general OPD services were launched in July 2012. Then in January 2013 Phase 2 was started which includes Dialysis Center and Diagnostic Center. The third phase of Friends Hospital started in June 2013 and will have an operating theater, labor room and indoor facilities. The hospital is providing low cost but high quality treatment and diagnostic facilities to poor and needy patients.

The hospital will have a 20-bed dialysis center with all kinds of diagnostic facilities such as CT scan, X-ray, MRI, gamma camera, atherosclerosis, well-equipped laboratory and endoscopy. With all kinds of OPD service. JC and labor room and operation theater and ICU are also provided. 

Vision

Friends Hospital Founder Trustee is the idea and vision of Dr. Iftikhar Ahmad Niazi who is devoting all his time and efforts to fulfill his vision. All other trustees have fully endorsed this vision. The purpose of Friends Hospital is to manage and operate hospitals, clinics, dispensaries and medical aid and relief facilities anywhere in Pakistan. The focus of the operation is on the welfare of the poor, backward and deserving people (especially in rural areas) so that they can be provided basic health as well as health education services.
